SiteMinder Names Top 10 Online Booking Sites for 2010

SiteMinder – a leading distributor of Australian hotel rooms to online travel agents – has unveiled the top performing online booking websites for its Australian hotel customers.

The Australian and international reservation sites were ranked according to the booking dollars yielded per listed accommodation provider. Only booking sites listing at least 500 of the 3000 Australian accommodation providers that use SiteMinder as a distribution and channel manager were included in the ranking process.

The Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific Awards for 2010 ranked SiteMinder at number 68 of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in the region based on revenue performance over the past three years. SiteMinder, an online channel manager which links hotels with reservation websites around the world, was recorded as achieving a 478 per cent growth in revenue over the past two years – well above the 374 per cent average growth for the entire list of 500 companies.

SiteMinder Switches on Link with Callista PMS

Online hotel distributor, SiteMinder, has launched a global, two-way integration between the major Callista property management system (PMS) and room booking websites around the world.

The connection means hotels using Callista’s PMS can now have their room availability and pricing distributed automatically to dozens of online accommodation booking sites such as Expedia, Wotif, and Agoda, using SiteMinder’s online technology. SiteMinder to Open its First Overseas Office in the UK
