Hamilton Island is the latest major tourism player to join expanding channel manager, SiteMinder, with all five properties on the island signing up with SiteMinder to manage reservations from dozens of accommodation booking sites in Australia and around the world.
The new connection means Hamilton Island will have availability and pricing for its 380 rooms distributed automatically to dozens of online accommodation booking sites such as Expedia, Wotif, Booking.com and Agoda.
“We chose SiteMinder because we’ll be able to manage our rates and room availability for all our properties on the one easy-to-use system,” said Hamilton Island Revenue Manager Emma Perham, commenting on the selection of SiteMinder for the resort’s room management and distribution system. “This will be a massive time saver for us.”
“We’ll be able to expand our distribution because of SiteMinder’s many connections with third party booking sites around the world,” Ms Perham said.
“We’re also joining forces with SiteMinder because of their reputation across the industry for their excellent customer support.”
