Travellers seeking a five-star holiday at three of Bali’s top resorts – The Bale, The Amala and The Menjangan – will find it easier to book accommodation following a new partnership forged between Lifestyle Retreats and international online travel distribution provider, SiteMinder.
Lifestyle Retreats is a Singapore-based boutique hotel management company which operates the three resorts in Bali and currently working on new developments in several locations across Asia Pacific. Lifestyle Retreats will use SiteMinder’s market leading Channel Manager to expand the portfolio’s reach to more booking sites around the world and as well as SiteMinder’s commission-free, feature rich booking engine, TheBookingButton, to take bookings directly from the hotels’ own websites.
SiteMinder’s Sales Manager for Asia, Kevin Tatem, said the new partnership with Lifestyle Retreats would automate and streamline the resorts’ online distribution portfolio and cut the cost of acquisition.
“The Amala, The Bale and The Menjangan are three high-end properties that have chosen to deploy our dynamic duo – our market-leading Channel Manager and direct, booking engine, TheBookingButton – to achieve higher online penetration and distribution.” Mr Tatem said.
“Driven by pooled inventory, the Channel Manager will make it easier for Lifestyle Retreats to reach more markets without the risk of overbooking. Because of the Channel Manager’s proven reliability and connectivity speed, Lifestyle Retreats and their prospective customers can be assured that the information they are seeing is up-to-the-minute and accurate.
“Complementing the increase in distribution is TheBookingButton, a direct-reservation, commission free booking engine that will power express bookings on the properties’ own websites. With a record of high conversions and optimisation for mobile phones and Facebook, TheBookingButton will ensure it will be easier than ever to book a relaxing stay at any Lifestyle Retreats property.
“This new partnership reiterates the way in which SiteMinder can help accommodation providers from budget properties to luxury resorts expand their online business, boost efficiency and cut costs in what is an increasingly competitive market for the discerning traveller’s dollar,” Mr Tatem said.
Managing Director of Lifestyle Retreats, Jose Luis Calle said: “Our three Bali properties are very exclusive products so we were keen to ensure the distribution interface we selected delivered optimum revenue opportunities as well as cost efficiencies and to date, SiteMinder has generated excellent results on both counts. Travellers seeking a premium resort experience in Bali can now book direct with us easily and quickly using TheBookingButton from SiteMinder and they can also find us on major reservation websites around the world that SiteMinder has connected us to. We look forward to growing our business in Bali and future locations in partnership with them.”
