London, UK – Austrian Sacher Hotels, the home of the world-famous Original Sacher-Torte, has partnered with SiteMinder, the global hotel industry’s leading guest acquisition platform, to invite guests from all over the world to experience a taste of Vienna.

The announcement comes weeks after the Christmas holiday, where the historical hotel business once again showcased hospitality at its finest, including inside its Café Sacher Wien, Grüne Bar and Rote Bar restaurants where it offered the signature dessert that stands as one of Vienna’s most iconic symbols.

“I love talking about personalisation because it’s the one word that captures exactly what we do, not only during peak holiday periods but everyday throughout the year. With SiteMinder, we now have an even greater ability to focus on our guests. By managing our rates, inventory and reservations through a single platform, we are that much more efficient and ultimately the time we have saved goes into better serving our guests. Additionally, SiteMinder has provided us with a global audience that we can invite to Vienna and into our hotels,” says Anita Paic, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Sacher Hotels.

The emblematic Sacher Hotels have reinvented hospitality over a century and today the Hotel Sacher Wien and Hotel Sacher Salzburg remain two of the greatest luxury hotels in the most culturally-significant cities in Europe. Former guests have included Rihanna, Queen Elizabeth II and John F. Kennedy.

“Sacher Hotels are among the most recognised in the world and it is an honour for SiteMinder to be a part of the path they are building to sustain and grow business. Sacher is testament to every hotel’s ability to adapt to change and to embrace new generations of guests. Implementing the right technology is the perfect strategy to stay in front of those changes, and we are delighted Sacher will keep evolving and creating history with SiteMinder now by their side,” says Clemens Fisch, Regional Manager – DACH at SiteMinder.
