After another stellar edition in 2022, SiteMinder’s Partner of the Year Awards are back again in 2023.
The latest exciting development is the announcement of this year’s judges, who will be overseeing the four awards on offer in the Excellence category.
Here are the introductions…
SiteMinder Partner of the Year Awards 2023 Judges
Anne Clemenson, Manager Distribution Technology, International Choice Hotels EMEA
Passionate about hospitality and systems, as Manager Distribution Technology, Anne and her team are driving distribution technology modernisation initiatives.
Anne leverages over 20 years expertise in hospitality to provide customers and partners with the best systems and connectivity to increase their operational efficiency and their commercial performance.
A graduate of an international catering and hotel school, Anne began her career working in F&B in independent hotels, followed by Accor. She then held management positions in housekeeping, reception and general management with Accor and Choice Hotels before moving into technology.
Sharad Kapur, Hospitality Commercial Strategy Consultant, Estilo Hospitality
Sharad has been associated with the hospitality industry for over 20 years. A graduate of Cornell’s Master’s in Hospitality program, Sharad has held senior executive positions across the globe in Chicago, Zurich, Dubai, Mumbai and is experienced in managing Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Africa, Middle-East, Indian Sub-Continent, and Latin America.
He led the development of revenue management architecture at Hyatt as the Head of Revenue and Distribution for Hyatt International and also opened more than 100 plus hotels in 35 different countries as Vice President of Sales and Marketing Operations.
He has also consulted for numerous companies in the technology and hospitality space providing support to start-up’s, tech platforms, ownership groups and independent hotel owners.
An avid traveller, he has travelled across the globe covering 56 countries and enjoys localising his experiences.
Trent Innes, Chief Growth Officer, SiteMinder
Starting his career as an accountant, Trent saw first-hand the opportunity technology presents to growing and managing businesses.
He has more than two decades’ experience growing and managing major businesses across the technology industry. Trent was previously the Managing Director of Xero Australia and Asia. During his eight-year tenure, he successfully scaled the Australia business to over 1 million subscribers and set up the Asia business. Prior to that, he held senior roles at Microsoft Australia and Infor.
Trent is passionate about fostering a thriving technology industry. He sits on a number of boards of emerging technology companies, and advises their founders on scaling and taking their businesses global.
Trent was recognised for his contribution to the industry when he was named the IT and Telecommunications Executive of the Year and also took home the coveted title of Managing Director of the Year at CEO Magazine’s 2017 Executive of the Year Awards.
About the SiteMinder partner awards
SiteMinder’s Partner of the Year Awards recognise hospitality businesses and individuals whose contributions and support are invaluable to hoteliers and accommodation providers. The aim is to highlight the impact they have and showcase the success they drive for their customers and communities.
Just like last year, the 2023 awards will give SiteMinder Partner Program members and Hotel App Store members a chance to win awards in two categories: Excellence and Performance.

Excellence Awards
- Innovation Partner of the Year – Awarded to the partner program member that has created a new process, idea, product or solution that changes the way they do business.
- Industry Champion of the Year – Awarded to the partner program member who has shown dedication and commitment to the industry through their work.
- Rising Start of the Year – Awarded to the partner that has pioneered new technology, solutions or services with clear potential for growth.
People’s Choice Partner of the Year – All nominations for this award are submitted by the customers themselves, before the panel of judges decide who has the strongest entry.
Performance Awards
- PMS Partner of the Year – Evaluation of a PMS partner’s performance against a points-based criteria.
- Expert Partner of the Year – Evaluation of an Expert partner’s performance against a points-based criteria.
- App Partner of the Year – Evaluation of an App partner’s performance against a points-based criteria.
