"After using SiteMinder for five years I decided to try a new channel manager a year ago, purely because they offered a very competitive introduction fee and were very enthusiastic with promises of new rollouts of functionality and dedicated customer service. A year has passed and I have now decided to return to SiteMinder as my choice for a channel manager and booking engine. After using a different channel manager I feel SiteMinder is much more user-friendly - the interface and dashboard are clearer and navigation is simpler. The functionality of TheBookingButton, which allows me to offer packages and promotions on specific dates to increase direct bookings, is also more beneficial being a small hotel and allows me better control of my direct rates. The video tutorials are also very concise and make it extremely easy to train staff as they can watch and repeat and use them to refer back if they have any issues. So although the cost is slightly higher, I feel the ease of usability of SiteMinder saves me time and allows me the ability to concentrate on ideas for promotions to gain more direct bookings thus a better return on investment. I am also very happy to find even further improvements to the system that have taken place in the last year; I will be sticking with SiteMinder for the foreseeable future and highly recommend it to those searching for a channel manager and booking engine solution."
